Technical area
The present invention relates to a cooking appliance of the hot air fryer type. The invention aims in particular to accessorize said device to allow the preparation of various recipes by means of various cooking methods, for example the preparation of hot verrines, skewers, snack-type dishes, cakes, etc.
State of the art
Cooking appliances of the hot air fryer type are known to those skilled in the art. Such devices make it possible to greatly reduce the amount of fat, or even to eliminate it completely, during the cooking of food which can be of vegetable or animal origin, for example french fries, vegetables, meat or fish. Indeed, cooking is done with little or no oil thanks to hot air circulating in a cooking chamber, which allows to consume more dietetic foods, crispy outside and soft inside . Due to the reduction or elimination of cooking oil, these appliances emit less odors and fats; their cleaning is further simplified.
A cooking appliance of the hot air fryer type generally comprises a tank which receives a basket in which food to be cooked is arranged. Once the food has been placed in the basket and the basket is positioned in the tank, the cooking appliance can be closed to form a cooking chamber incorporating the tank, the basket and the food. Hot air is then blown into this chamber by means of a hot air blowing system present on said device, the circulation of hot air thus ensuring the cooking of food. A handling handle is attached to the basket in order to be able to extract it from the tank without getting burned and remove the food at the end of cooking.
Some cooking fryers such as hot air fryers include additional accessories to extend the functions of these appliances. Indeed, cooking being done by means of hot air blown into the room, it is possible to consider the use of these devices for other culinary preparations For example, the hot air fryer of the brand ACTIVERY® , developed by the applicant, provides an accessory for the preparation of hot verrines and an accessory for the preparation of snacks. The accessory for the preparation of hot verrines includes four verrines and a support comprising four areas for receiving these four verrines. This accessory for the preparation of hot verrines is placed in the tank of the hot air fryer in place of the basket which is usually placed in this tank to receive the food to be cooked. Similarly, the accessory for the preparation of snacking can include a grid placed either in place of the basket usually placed in the tank, or above the basket.
Summary of the invention
The present invention implements a cooking appliance of the hot air fryer type which comprises at least one cooking accessory, the design of said appliance facilitating the handling of the at least one cooking accessory in complete safety, without the risk of getting burned. . Another object of the present invention is to allow the implementation of a wide range of cooking accessories, each cooking accessory can be placed in a tank and handled very easily and safely. In the following description, the term accessory is used to define the cooking accessory.
According to the invention, the cooking appliance of the hot air fryer type comprises a tank, a basket and at least one accessory. The basket or at least one accessory can be positioned, one or the other, in a removable manner in the tank; in other words, either the basket is placed in the tank or the accessory is placed in the tank.
Of course, the cooking appliance according to the invention includes other characteristics similar to traditional cooking appliances which make it possible to constitute a cooking chamber integrating the tank with the basket or the accessory once said appliance closed, a system of blowing of hot air incorporated in said apparatus making it possible to draw hot air from this chamber. The hot pulsed air circulates in the chamber and in the tank which contains the basket or the accessory, thus ensuring the cooking of the food placed in the basket or in the accessory.
According to the invention, the cooking appliance comprises a handling system configured to be removably assembled with the basket or with the at least one accessory so as to allow handling either of the basket or of the at least one accessory. for its insertion into the tank and its removal from the tank. The above description based on Figures 1 to 13 refers to an accessory 2 for the preparation of verrines 3. The cooking appliance object of the invention may include other accessories 2 in substitution or in addition to the one described above.
By way of example, in FIGS. 14 and 15, the accessory 2 consists of a grid 47 for the preparation of dishes of the snacking type. This grid 47 is provided with a contour 48 and a mesh plate 49. On the front part 48a of the contour 48 is fixed the support tab 19 which engages and locks in the body 21 as described above with regard to Figures 1 to 13, in order to assemble the grid 47 with the handling system 5. The mesh plate 49 and the contour 48 can be fixed together; on the contrary, it is possible to provide a removable assembly between the mesh plate 49 and the contour 48 in order to facilitate cleaning of said mesh plate 49. With reference to these figures 14 and 15, it is possible to replace the mesh plate 49 with a solid plate (not shown), fixed or removable with respect to the outline 48, in this case the accessory 2 consists of a plate (not shown) for the preparation of grilling. On the same principle, it is also possible to replace the grid 47 by a cake pan (not illustrated) provided with a contour and a bottom, said contour being fixed to the support tab 19 in a similar manner to the contour 48 from grid 47.
According to another example illustrated in FIGS. 16 to 21, the accessory 2 comprises a wired support 50 forming a peripheral edge 51. The front part 51a of the peripheral edge 51 is fixed to the support tab 19 which engages and locks in the body 21, as described above with reference to FIGS. 1 to 13, in order to assemble this wired support 50 with the handling system 5. On the front part 51a and the rear part 51b of the peripheral edge 51 are arranged six pairs of cavities 52 to 57, each pair of cavities 52 to 57 allowing the reception of a peak 58, the two ends 58a, 58b of the peak resting on a pair of cavities 52 to 57, as illustrated in FIGS. 16 to 18. Thus, l accessory 2 allows the preparation of skewers. The number of pairs of cavities on the peripheral edge 51 and the number of peaks 58 can vary, preferably between four and eight, depending on the dimensions of the tank 1 of the cooking appliance.
As illustrated in FIGS. 16, 19 and 20, this accessory 2 can comprise, in addition to or in substitution for the peaks 58, a grid 59 provided with an outline 60 and a mesh bottom 61. The mesh bottom 61 can be fixed or removable vis-à-vis the contour 60, in particular to facilitate its cleaning. A rim 62 is formed in the upper part of the contour 60; the outline 60 is dimensioned to engage inside the peripheral edge 51 of the wired support 50, while the rim 62 is dimensioned to come into abutment against said peripheral edge 51 so as to maintain the grid 59 on the wired support 50 Thus, accessory 2 allows the preparation of snacking type dishes. It is possible to provide, in addition to or in substitution for the peaks 58 and / or the grid 59, a plate (not illustrated) of a design similar to the said grid 59, the bottom of the plate being however full instead of being screened. . This plate allows in particular the preparation of grills. It is also possible to provide, in addition to or in substitution for the peaks 58, the grid 59 and / or the plate, a cake pan 63, illustrated in FIG. 21, the design of which resembles that of said grid 59 , that is to say with a contour 64 and a peripheral edge 65, the contour 64 of the cake pan 63 being simply higher than the contour 60 of the grid 59 in order to properly receive the cake dough without risk of overflowing said mold. In a variant of accessory 2 not providing for the reception of peaks 58, but simply a grid 59, a plate and / or a cake pan, the peripheral edge 51 of the wire support 50 could be designed without the pairs of cavities 52 to 57.
As illustrated in FIG. 21, the wired support 50 can additionally comprise two feet 67 (only one illustrated in FIG. 21) of a design similar to that of the feet 45, 46 on the support 6 illustrated in FIGS. 3 and 4 , in order to stabilize said wire support 50 during the removal of the picks 58, the grid 59, the plate or the cake pan 63.
In FIG. 22, the accessory 2 is a reheating accessory, in the same way as the accessory 2 for the preparation of verrines 3 illustrated in FIGS. 1, 3 and 4, the container however being a container 66 or a bowl instead to be a verrine 3. In FIG. 22, the accessory 2 comprises a single container 66 and the support 6 comprises a single opening 8 for the formation of a single reception zone 7 adapted to said container 66. Thus the volume of the tray 66 allows the heating of substantial dishes. However, an accessory 2 could be provided with two trays 66 having a volume of half that illustrated in FIG. 22 and two receiving zones 7 adapted on the support 6.
The above description highlights the subject of the invention. This is in no way limiting, variants can be envisaged without departing from the scope of the invention. By way of example, a cooking appliance could be provided which comprises a fixed vessel closed by a cover to constitute a cooking chamber in which hot air is blown, the basket 4 or the accessory 2 positioned in the tank in a similar manner to the embodiment described above. In this case, however, the handling system 5 will not need to be locked with the tank 1 when the body 21 is housed in the receiving area 11.
